Dear favorite brother-in-law (Charlie always did get a good chuckle when I called him that, as of course, he was my only one!),

When we met, 42 years ago, you were not overly impressed with me.  I soon came to realize, that you were just being protective of your baby brother.  We had really good "discussions" you and I.  I remember Poppa saying, Thank God, you too did not meet and marry!!!  Over the years, we both matured, and got to share our ideas, and opinions, without arguing.  I loved that you loved Brian so much, and also were such a good uncle to Danyka and Sabryna.  They have such fond memories of the time they spent with you.  Brian and I will never forget the time you were able to spend with us in Florida.  How he enjoyed sitting in the carport with you, chatting, drinking american beer, and of course teasing Wendy and I.  We were so looking forward to our trip to Jamaica with you.  We promise we will convince Wendy to come with us, and we will toast you, dear Charlie.  I will miss you Charlie,
