I served with John from the time he joined in 1998 until 1999 when I left. He was responsible for my wife and I getting together in 1998, or at least that's what he loved to tell us. Lol. I contacted John regarding taking a trip to Thailand. As was his nature he went out of his way to be helpful to me and to ensure my experience was a good one. To give you an idea of the positive impact your son had on others, he gave me the contact information of a lady in Patong and told me she would take care of me while I was there, I still keep in contact with her and when I told her of John's passing she was very distraught and very sad. John affected others in ways he did not realize and his genuine caring and friendliness for others was felt around the world, I can attest to this. I will remember. Please accept my heartfelt condolences in this, your time of sorrow and grief, and please rest peacefully in knowing that your son has changed my life for the better to have known him. Thank you.
