Condolence From: Brent "Doc" Halliday
Condolence: I served with John from the time he joined in 1998 until 1999 when I left. He was responsible for my wife and I getting together in 1998, or at least that's what he loved to tell us. Lol. I contacted John regarding taking a trip to Thailand. As was his nature he went out of his way to be helpful to me and to ensure my experience was a good one. To give you an idea of the positive impact your son had on others, he gave me the contact information of a lady in Patong and told me she would take care of me while I was there, I still keep in contact with her and when I told her of John's passing she was very distraught and very sad. John affected others in ways he did not realize and his genuine caring and friendliness for others was felt around the world, I can attest to this. I will remember. Please accept my heartfelt condolences in this, your time of sorrow and grief, and please rest peacefully in knowing that your son has changed my life for the better to have known him. Thank you.

Condolence From: Andie
Condolence: My prayers are with each family member and friend of John's during this time. For most of the time since end of last August I've been John's mail carrier. He always had a smile and calm, friendly greeting. He gave a nice card at Christmas- always showing a grateful attitude. You're missed, John. Rest peacefully and keep a good watch on the rest of us.

Condolence From: Heather Pay (Burke)
Condolence: No words can express the sorrow I feel at the loss of such a wonderful man. Knowing him has played a great deal in the person that I am today. Every time our paths crossed after he left the Irish was always a nice reunion. He will truly be missed and his sacrifice will never be forgotten. God bless my friend, wish I could see you just once more.

Condolence From: Blain Potvin
Condolence: I want to pass on my condolences to Johnny's family. I served with him in the Irish and those were great years. His mischevious smile and nature got us into wonderful fits of trouble and laughter. I shall always remember him and miss him.

Fior Go Bas Johnny.
