Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at Health Sciences North on Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at the age of 82. Daughter of the late Omer and Léda (née Proulx) Charbonneau. Predeceased by her husband Maurice Charette. Loving mother of Lucie Desbiens (Fern), Monique Charette (Allan Corbierre), Diane Charette (Robert Barriault), Raymond Charette (Yvonne), Suzanne Tremblay (Denis) and Jocelyne Rowlands (Doug). Cherished “Memère” of Lisanne, Carolyne, Julie, Patrick, Angela, Stephanie, Allan Jr, Kristina, Paul, Cherie, Michelle, Mimi, Alain, Anyse, Luc, Jay, Shawna, Derek, Jesse and Brady and cherished “l’autre Memère” of 24 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Raymond, Janine, Gaëtane, Guy, Adolphe, Andrée. Predeceased by her siblings Père Jean-Marie, Liette and Lucie. Gisèle was a kind and generous soul, who left an impact with everyone she met. Her smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, August 24th, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame du Rosaire, Blezard Valley.
