In Loving Memory of Willie “Guillaume” Thomas Bossé, 87 years, who peacefully passed Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the Ottawa Hospital surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Adrienne (Lalonde) Bossé for 66 years. Loving father of Jocelyne Ovens (husband Peter), Gaye Sviezikas (husband Ed), and Susan Larocque Bossé (former husband Leo). Devoted Pépère of Celeste (husband Jamie), Michael (husband Sheldon), Eddie (wife Sarah), Renée (husband Eddie), Avis (husband Ron), Dana, and Jessica. Cherished Grand-Pépère to Alex, Jacob, Danyka, Ethan, Garrett, Mya, Addison, Ayden, Levi, Jayla, Zoe and Eliana. Dear son of Émilienne and William Bossé, both predeceased. Dear brother of Yvonne (predeceased), Fernand, Raymonde (predeceased), Jacqueline (predeceased), Thérèse, Jeannine, Rolande, Gérard, Roger, Monique, and their spouses. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Guillaume loved life and lived his to the fullest. He was quick-witted and never passed-up a chance to pull a prank or tell a tall tale. He was happiest with a song in his heart, a fishing pole in one hand and a grandchild on his knee. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, December 11, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Donations can be made to the Foundation for Fighting Blindness or to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.
