The family is sad to announce the sudden passing of a great friend and passionate outdoorsman, Rolly Bodson, on Sunday, September 4th, 2016 at the age of 89 years. He was the cherished husband of Suzanne Joly, and a loving father to Robert (Claudette), Gérard (Beverly), Cécile (Richard), Anita (Vince), Louise (Keith), Denise (Denis), Rita (Steve), Yvette (Rick) and Marc (Julie). He will be greatly missed by many grand-children and great-grand-children. Predeceased by his parents René Bodson and Marie-Jeanne Bodson (née Pharand). Cherished brother of Claire Beaulieu (late Vic), Martha Perrier (Delphis “Pitou”), Gilles “Joe” (Rita), Albert “Pitou” (Patsy), Jacqueline Ethier (Roland), Pauline Legault (Gilles), Maurice (late Pauline) (friend Linda), Réjeanne Rancourt (Dan) and Denis (Suzanne). Predeceased by his sister Madeleine Lachapelle (late Marcel) and by his brothers Jean, Marcel (late Bernadette) and Roger (Alice). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, September 9th, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday after 9 a.m. A mass will then be celebrated at 10 a.m in Ste-Marguerite d’Youville church, Val Thérèse.
