It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Bernard was one of 11 children born to Corinne (Miron) and Julien Gagnon (both predeceased). Loving father of Denise Gagnon-Lebrun (Luc), Paulette Gagnon-Hammell (David) and Bernard Gagnon. Cherished grandfather of Mychèle Lebrun, Nicolas Lebrun and Connor Hammell. Predeceased by his siblings Yvette Leduc (late René), Roger Gagnon, Claudette Robillard (Royal), Monique Foisey (Gerry) and Lucille Chamberland (late Gerry Simard and late Fernand “Charlie”). Beloved brother of Lorraine Murchie (Carl), Gaëtan Gagnon (Sylvia), Suzanne Malone, Richard Gagnon (Carole) and Robert Gagnon (Lise). The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, August 11th, 2016 from 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
