Grannie’s Legacy She walked the walk, she talked the talk for near one hundred years. She raised three children by herself, and smiled through Depression fears. The only words I ever heard were good ones about others. Each grandchild was a special one, as were each of her brothers. She read her Bible every day, yet never preached a word. Simply signed, “God Bless You, Grannie” on every birthday card. I searched the Scriptures for Him, though He’d always been right there. Shining through the eyes of Grannie as she rocked us in her chair. If I could choose one special gift with dear ones to impart, It’s that my life, like Grannie’s, will shine Jesus from its heart.
