The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Monday, May 30, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Daughter of the late Léo and Aline (née Laurin) Labelle. Loving mother of Micheline Belisle of Barrie, Robin Belisle (Lynn) of Markstay and Caroline Boudreau (Georges) of Hanmer. Dear sister of Gilles Labelle of Cambridge, Marie Mainville (Louis) of Joliette, QC, Diane Bissonnette (Marcel) of Sudbury, Lucille Robidoux (Réjean) of Hagar and Roger Labelle (Ann) of Chelmsford. Predeceased by her brother Gérald Labelle (Claudette of Hanmer). Cherished grandmother of Rikki-Lee (Jamie), Kourtney (Justin), Cameron, Nicholas , Annick, Charlyse and great-grandmother of Andi. She is survived by the father of her children, Ronald Belisle. Yolande worked with Canada Post, after her father’s retirement, to ensure mail delivery to rural customers in Rivière Veuve area for many years. After moving her family to Sudbury, she operated Yolly’s Confectionary in the Flour Mill area for seventeen years where she retired in 1999. She shared her time between her love of gardening and enjoying her grandchildren during her retirement years. Yolande also shared her passion for traveling enjoying family trips across Canada and the United States. She also visited Cuba, Mexico, Hawaii, Australia, Portugal and Italy with her friends. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of Lodge 1 at Pioneer Manor for the wonderful care and compassion they showed their mother and the family during her final days. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
