The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Husband of the late Rhéa (née Cardinal) Lagrandeur. Son of the late Joseph and the late Lisa (née Vallée) Lagrandeur. Loving father of Roger (Céline Pitre)(late June) of Hanmer, Gaëtanne Gignac of Chelmsford, Diane Frame (Dale) of Cumberland, B.C., Suzanne Polsky (Dan) of Sturgeon Falls and Ronald Penemick of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters John (late Leona), Henri (late Laura), Victor, Alpha (late Lilliane), Marie-Jeanne Paquette (late Edmond), Celanire Gour (late Léon), Flore Paquette (late Ernest), Alma Bédard (late Sévère) and Georgianna Robichaud (late Ernie). Cherished grandfather of Colette (Bruno), Christine, David, Francine (Dave), Lise, Michel, Jeffrey (Emilie), Mandy (Steve) and great-grandfather of Keisha, Terron, Zachary, Kiana, Alexie, Jared, Michael, Hailley, Audrik and great-great-grandfather of Alyssa. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at L’Annonciation Church, Sudbury.
