The family announces with great sorrow, his passing away, in Chelmsford, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Son of the late Edouard and Délina (née Legault) Labelle. Beloved husband of Reina Labelle (née Giroux). Loving father of Roger Labelle (Donna) and Michel Labelle (Michelle) both of Val Caron, Priscille Bertrand of Azilda (late Roger), Jeanne d’Arc Labelle and Yvan Labelle both of Sudbury, Marie-Anne Gélineau (Raymond) of Hanmer and Pierre Labelle of Oshawa. Proud grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 22. Dear brother of Alma Vis (John) of Hanmer and Desneiges Mageau (late Guy) of Edmonton. Predeceased by his sister Gabrielle Ménard (late Rhéal) and his brothers, Edgar (Florence of Sturgeon), Alexandre (Yvette of Hanmer), Raymond (Jeanne d'Arc of Blezard), Oscar (Agnès of Hanmer), Florian (Lise of Chelmsford), Leonard (Georgette of Hanmer) and George (Carmen of Hanmer). Sadly missed by his brothers and sister-in-law: Fernand Giroux (late Lucille), René Giroux (Joan) and Dora Favaro (late Livio). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Cécile Régimbal (late Camille), Rodolphe Giroux (late Eliane), Ernest Giroux (late Jeannette), Marguerite Soulière (late Russell), Aurore Frappier (late Paul-Émile) and Dolorèse Fredette (late Roméo). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph Street, Hanmer, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Caron.
