It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Son of the late Aldège and of the late Rose (née McLean) Lebel. Beloved husband of 66 years to the late Simone Lebel, predeceased April 1, 2015. Loving father of Yvette Gagnon (Richard), Hélène Lebel (Wayne R. Hanna) and Andy Lebel (Mel). Predeceased by his son Paul. Cherished grandmother of Marc, Micheline, Danielle, Denis, Kyle, Nick and Sara. Sadly missed by many great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Pauline and predeceased by his sister Bernadette. Larry retired from INCO Ltd. in 1976 but will be remembered for being the skate sharpener at the Azilda arena for many years. In keeping with Larry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private burial will be held at a later date. Donations (by cheque only) to Falconbridge Extendicare would be appreciated.
