BARRIAULT, Rita (née Landry)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Wife of the late Adéodat “Joseph” Barriault. Daughter of the late Pierre and Lumina (née Aubut) Landry. Beloved mother of Lisette Barriault, Rénald (Guylaine), Richard, and Brian all of Sudbury and Giselène Dickson (Gordy) of Garson. Predeceased by her son Réjean, daughter Suzanne and son Marcel (Helen). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Edmond, Philippe, Joseph, Cécile, Ernest, Nicolas, Patrick and Emilien. Cherished grandmother of Allan, Abby, Krista, Steven, David, Laura, Josée and great-grandmother of Sierra-Lee, Sabrina, Giovanni, Sarah, Cole, Brittney, Noah and Vincent. Rita loved camping at Long Lake, cooking, dancing, knitting and playing cards. She was a very kind helpful person who was very compassionate to others. She loved to watch television especially her favourite shows Price is Right, Bold and the Beautiful, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Serafin. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel.
