The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Monday, August 17, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Daughter of the late Roméo and the late Julie (née Gélinas) Gaudet. Loving sister of Nicole Blais (Raymond) of Thunder Bay, Jocelyne Stott (Don), Evelyn Gaudet, Guy Gaudet (Diane) and Louise Leeworthy (Tony) all of Sudbury, Remy Gaudet (Darlene) of Timmins and Christine Bazzoni (Angelo) of White River. Sadly missed by 13 nieces & nephews, 24 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew. Lovingly remembered by her very dear friend and care giver Simone Giroux. She lived most of her life in Timmins with the CTRC program and attended the day program at VMC (Vic Maloney) until her recent move to Sudbury 2 years ago. She was a very easy going individual, who was always happy. Some of her many pastimes were bowling, dancing and singing. Marie had a great love for Elvis Presley and all the staff at St-Joseph’s Villa. Marie always knew who was boss...She was! There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
