It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing at Au Château in Sturgeon Falls on Friday, July 24th, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Son of the late Ovila and Éloise (born Lalonde) Poulin. Husband of the late Jeanne (born Lamoureux) Poulin. Loving father of Rachelle Gervais (Ronald), Carmen Gauthier (Richard), Pauline Bouchard (late Gilles), Jeannette Heeralal (Roy Andrée Roy (Richard), Ronald (Lise Poulin) and Nicole Poulin (Vincent Groulx). Dear brother of Fernande Montpellier (Jean-Paul) and Rita Labranche (late Léo). Predeceased by his siblings Auguste (Lina), Tim (Fleur Ange), Ovide (Maria), Albert (Alice), Eugénie (Léo-Paul), Wildrid (Thérèse), Roland (Lorraine), Aurèle (Dora) and Laurient (Anita) and Eugène (Flore). Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Adelmer was the owner of Poulin’s Esso for 20 years. He loved fishing, hunting and socializing. The family will receive relative and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury, Saturday, August 1st, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
