It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 just two weeks before he was to turn 55. Son of the late Bertrand and the late Beatrice Rose (nee: Gingras) Morin. Loving brother of Bertrand Morin, Dianna Foster (Terry), Jeannette McGauley (Dan), William Morin (Robin) all from Sudbury and by Vicky Hewitt (Ted) of Sarnia. Predeceased by his sister Dorthy Morin. Cherished uncle of Jennifer, Jasmine, Amanda, Yves, Terry, Trevor, Rochelle, Lucy, David, Charlene, Wii’um, M’Komii-Noodin, Annie, Liza, Thomas John “T.J.”, Jason and great-uncle of many. He will be deeply missed by Valerie, Scott, Tracey and by many friends from Rumball Terrace and the Samaritan Centre. Marcel was an avid cribbage wiz and enjoyed sharing stories with his friends over a good smoke. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, July 27th, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. A formal service and sharing will begin at 8 p.m. Donations in Marcel’s memory can be made to the Samaritan Centre.
