CAZA, Gérald “Gerry”

The family announces his passing in Ottawa on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the age of 87 years. Son of the late François Caza and the late Maria (nee Déguire) Caza. Predeceased by his wife Louise (nee Bacon) Caza in 2004. Beloved father of Ronald (Lyne) of Ottawa, Marie Caza (Ed) of Barrie, Pauline Caza Weedmark (Mark) of Ottawa, Paul of Ottawa, Bernard (Liliane) of Azilda and Richard (Sue) from Chelmsford. Dear brother of Laurent "Ben" (Louise) of Kingston, Roméo (Ruth) of Chelmsford and Marie Jeanne Bratt (late Don) of Surrey, BC. Predeceased by his sisters Lucille Soullière (late Laurent "Bib") of Windsor and Lily Murphy (the late Bill) of Windsor, and his brother Harvey (May) of Ottawa. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren François, Alexandre, Myriam, Michael, Emilie, Bernard, Sophie, Jacob, Justin and Samuel, and his great grandchildren Fahsai, Loïq, Emilia and Violette. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 1 p.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. A hot lunch will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque or online to the Alzheimer Society or the Northern Cancer Foundation are appreciated.
