It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Théophile and the late Marguerite (née Beaulieu) Chamberland. Beloved husband of 65 years to Françoise (née Morin) Chamberland. Beloved father of Richard (Janet), Patrick (Donna), Paul (Glenda), Dora Cook and Francois (Christine). Predeceased by his daughter Joanne. He is survived by his grandchildren Renée (Christopher), Christopher (Élise), Tyler (Melissa), Richard Jr., Bailey, Megan, Zacharie, Emily, and his great-grandchildren Myah, Mathew, Logan, Sebastien and Norah. Predeceased by all his brothers and sisters. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Diabetes Canada.
