Anna Maria was born in Italy, Castel Campagnano, 1935. She immigrated to Canada in 1956. Anna Maria was a gentle, caring and humble person with qualities of an angel. Her devotion to her faith helped her live a simple and modest life. All who knew her, loved her. Her quiet presence was always gracious as she always showed much kindness and love to everyone. Anna Maria was a mother who unconditionally loved all of her children and her family dearly. She found peace and tranquility in life singing around the house, singing her favorite song, “Ave Maria” at weddings and funerals. She loved music and played the harmonica for fun. Taking dancing lessons with her husband was her passion and she enjoyed dancing waltz’s with him. Nature was her escape from her worry of life and her love for flowers showed in her beautiful flower garden in which she tended to every year. She was a fantastic cook and was well known for her delicious meatballs. She will be so sadly missed by her family and friends. We would like to thank all the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for all of their kindness, and for all of their constant supportive care. They have been so kind to Anna Maria and they showed her much love. Their hard work and dedication have been greatly appreciated. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury. Interment will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Civic Cemetery on Second Avenue, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Holy Redeemer Parish would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
