UNWIN, Douglas Sidney 1924-2018
It is with great sorrow that Doug’s family announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 94. Born in Winnipeg to the late Blanche and Bert Unwin. Doug served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WW11 and worked 33 years at the Inco in Levack. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anne. Loving father of Doug Jr. (predeceased), Ken (Lois), Bruce (Cathy), Bernice (Robert) and Peg (Mike). Dear brother of Joyce Kellock of Victoria, B.C. Doug leaves behind a legacy of many grand and great-grandchildren. He was a quiet and loving husband, father and grandfather who will always be remembered and loved deeply. A private family gathering will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to The COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E., Sudbury.
