It is with sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 95. Daughter of the late Josephat and the late Marie-Rose (nee Giguère) Barrette. Wife of the late Armand Lachapelle. Beloved mother of Gisèle Trottier (Rodolphe), Gerald Lachapelle, Lise Gagnon (Robert), Rachelle Connors (Kim) and Charmaine Bertrand (Bruno). Predeceased by her daughter Denise Clevette (late Stan). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jean, Daniel, Michel, Julie, Manon, Jean-Pierre, Miquel, Josée, Sylvie, Christian, Serge, Jenniffer, Shannon, Renée and Sophie as well as by many great-grandchildren. Dear sisters of Réjeanne, Armand and Marcelline. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Émilienne, Rose-Alice, Fernande, Gaston and Roger. Laurianna was very devoted to her faith. In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering for her community. A very special thank you for the care provided to Laurianna by the staff at St-Joseph's Villa. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
