Romeo  Bergeron
It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Son of the late George and Marie-Louise (née Lalancette) Bergeron. Predeceased by his wife Denise (née Binnette) Bergeron. Loving father of Claude Bergeron. Predeceased by his son Guy Bergeron and by his daughter Lise Bergeron. Fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Crystal Jonasson and step-son Frank Taback. Dear brother of Colette Labelle (late Reginal, late Emilien Lambert). Predeceased by his siblings Aqula, George, Midas, Art (Hilda), Marie (Allen Barcuskus) and Lucien (late Gerry). Sadly missed by his nephews Denis Lambert (Lise), Marcel Labelle and niece Suzanne Stephens. He will also be missed by many other nieces, nephews and friends. Fondly remembered by his friend Joanne Brosseau and sadly missed by his feline companion Maggie. Romeo had worked at Falconbridge mine in the Production and Maintenance department. His one true passion was for wood working where his vision and imagination combined with his skill and expertise created beautiful and original designs. Romeo was very well known and was known for his loving heart and gentle nature. He loved people and got joy from helping others. His generosity and compassion was greatly admired and will always be remembered. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24th,2018 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
