In loving memory of Cécile (Lamoureux) Proulx, who passed away on January 30, 2018 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Alphonse Proulx. Daughter of the late Ida (née Lalonde) and the late Alfred Lamoureux. Loving mother of Richard (wife Suzanne) and Thérèse Proulx, both of Val Thérèse, Annette (Tim Keen), Marguerite (Tom Kaljumaa), both of Hanmer, Rita (Henry Purawec) of Sudbury, Marie (Daniel Tourigny) of St-Charles, Denise Rodé and Colette (Mark Orlando), both of Thornhill, and Estelle (Dino Giannunzio) of Porcupine. Dear Mémère of 21 grandchildren and of 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Anita (late Germain Belisle) and aunt to many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by five sisters: Sr Thérèse Lamoureux, Laurette Labre, Laurence Paquette, Claire and Marielle Lamoureux, and three brothers: Paul, Roger and Laurent (Guido). The family would like to extend many extra special thanks to Fr. Robert Giroux, Dr. Candice Walton, the nurses, PSW and staff at the McCulloch Hospice, and to the Bayshore nurses for their compassionate care of mom and their support to the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, Val Thérèse. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice, or to the Cercle Missionaire of Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Parish would be appreciated.
