The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Wife of the late Aurèle Robidoux. Daughter of the late Edouard and the late Eglantine (née Landriault) Lafontaine. Loving mother of Joyce Vellow (Brian) of Mindemoya, André (Claudette Rochon) of Trenton, Marc (Nicole) of Sudbury and Lyse Brunet (Cy) of Ottawa. Predeceased by all her siblings Madeleine Primeau (late William), Lionel (late Jeannette), Jeanne (late Hector), Aldé, Marie, Eglantine and Jean (late Pauline). Cherished grandmother of Paul (Melissa), Serge, Larry, Stéphanie, Eric (Calvin), Roxane, Julie (Jesse), great-grandmother of Jeremy, Tiffany, Nikolas, Rielley, Keegan, Ronin, Linkoln, Landon, Jacques, Emerson and great-great-grandmother of Marlee. Yolande was retired from the General Hospital having worked for 30 years. In 1967, she established “Le mouvement des Guides de l’Annonciation. `` She was a minister of communion and was also quite proud to be a palliative care volunteer for 15 years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
