The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 93 years. Wife of the late Henri Lachapelle. Daughter of the late Olivier and the late Germaine (née Trudeau) Poirier. Loving mother of Richard (Jeannette) of Blind River, Denis (Mary) of Yorkton Saskatchewan and Francine Martel (Robert) of Massey. Predeceased by her siblings Leo (Therese), Lucille Lefebvre (late Rolland) and Adèle Swarbrick (late Archie) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Julie-Anne, Dean, Robin, Joelle (Curtis Lafleur), Natalie (Lamar Jaggard) and Julie (Jordan Cousins). Gloria will also be missed by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Lasalle Residence for their kind care and compassion for mom over the past 15 years. Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium in Chelmsford. A celebration of life to take place at a later date.
