It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Son of the late Paul Bidal and the late Hélène Bidal (née Laforge). Beloved husband of 45 years to Lorraine Bidal (born Campeau). Loving father of Michel Bidal (Sylvie). Cherished “Pépère” of Paul Bidal and Cameron Bidal. Dear brother of Lise Cordeau, Marc Bidal (Monique), Nicole Laurin (Michel) and Liette Bidal (Claude Frappier). Predeceased by his brother Gilles Bidal (Dianne). Guy was proud to serve his community as a permanent deacon for 25 years. He was also a Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council 9619 and 4th Degree Assembly St. Dominic. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at 11 am at St. Dominique Church, Sudbury. Masses in Guy’s memory (by cheque) at St-Dominique Church are greatly appreciated.
