It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late James O’Rourke and the late Simone (née Turcotte) O’Rourke. Beloved wife of Laurent Petitclerc of Hanmer. Loving mother of François Petitclerc. Predeceased by her son Denis Petitclerc (amie Nicole) and Richard Petitclerc (Nathalie Larochelle). Dear sister of Rita Couture (late Adonia), Yollande Beaulieu (late Claude and Jean-Marie Poulliot), Ghislaine Sanssoucie (late Gérard) and Réjeanne O’Rourke. Predeceased by her brother Raymond O’Rourke. Cherished grandmother to Eric. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St-Joseph Street, Hanmer on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 from 11 to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel, Hanmer.
