It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Val Caron on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the age of 100. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Turcot and the late Rose-Alma (née Henderson) Turcot. As beloved wife of the late Albert Chèvrefils and mother of Guylaine (Fernand Perreault), Marie-Claire (David) Violette, Nicole (Robert) Wilson, Rose-May (Réal) Démoré and Daniel (Diane B.), she always was the anchor of the family. She was predeceased by her daughters Huguette, Marie-Louise and Georgette (Yvan Simard) and sons Albert Jr. and Hubert (Denise). Her many grandchildren and great grandchildren cherished her. She will be sadly missed by her sister Thérèse (late Laurent Lemieux). She was predeceased by Jean-Marie (Jacqueline), Gilles (Denise), Yolande, Soeur Blanche fdls, Soeur Madeleine fdls, Arthur (late Éliane), Marcel (late Thérèse), Lilianne (Daniel Coyne), Antoinette, Noël (Carmen), Robert (Hélène Turcot-Perreault), Irènée (Rita) and Maurice. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, October 13 from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 14 from 10 - 11 a.m followed by a service in the chapel. The family wishes to thank the Elizabeth Centre personnel for the attention and the good care provided to Mom during her stay at the residence.
