Condolences

Condolence From: Robert Laurin
Condolence: I was taken aback when hearing about Ray's passing....I had hoped to see him one more time before we all got older. I never did understand about each families internal politics but I do understand one thing...I understand that he was a good man. I remember as a kid always waiting on Russett's front porch for you guys to arrive. Then after we all got older, I never did get around to asking Ray why he seemed a little uncomfortable around his own parents. Its been a while since I've needed to ask questions..... In my 56th year I find myself with more answers than questions..... Rachelle, to answer the unasked question of whether or not I loved Ray..... well, the answer is "yes". As unfortunate it was for me to never get to know him in the way I wanted, I'll not pass up the opportunity to extend my sincerest condolences... At first when I noticed when my name was missing from the list of surviving family members I was reluctant to send word but it only took me a couple of weeks to put family politics aside and simply say that I was brought to tears to hear of his passing.

That's all I wanted to say.

I want all of you guys to take good care of yourselves..... Rachelle, just know I'll never forget him.......

Sincerely yours,
Bob Laurin

Rachelle, you are always so fair to me which makes me understand why Raymond fell in love with you. I can tell you now you were my father's favorite daughter-in-law.

Not a year goes by that I don't find a reason to recall the best of the best memories.
