The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Richard Zoldy of Hanmer. Daughter of the late Sylvester and the late Georgette (née Desormiers) Rivard. Loving mother of Scott (Vanessa) and Allan (Elise). Dear sister of Suzanne Pleau (Emile), Jeannette Legault (Robert), Hélène Desormeaux (late Wilfrid), Michelle Rivard, Robert Rivard (Linda), Lise Surmenian (Ada), Patricia Brouillette (Robert) and Nicole Landry (John). Predeceased by her brothers Gérard Rivard and Yvon Rivard. Cherished grandmother of Ty Ling, Mae Lin, Kendra and Catherine. Madeleine loved to entertain her family and friends. She had a passion for dancing, playing cards and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
