The family announces with sorrow the peaceful passing of Bertha Vachon, on July 2, 2016 at St-Gabriel’s Villa. She was born in Azilda on April 3, 1939. Beloved daughter of the late Denis and late Lillianne Vachon. Dear sister of Raymond and Claudette (Don Klitsgaard). Predeceased by her siblings Roger (Anita), Maurice (Jeannine), Denise (late Leo Ramair) and Ernest (late Helen). Sadly missed by all her precious nieces and nephews. She was one of the longest residents at Gabe’s and was certainly made a part of a greater family. At this time, the family would like to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to all those who tended to Bertha’s needs at Gabe’s. She will sadly be missed by her family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
