Peacefully passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie (née Wolfe) Upfold. Son of the late James J. Upfold and Jean (née McLeod) Upfold. Loving father of Gary (Rita), Brian (Lynn), George (Helen), Carol Gravelle (Garry) and Deborah Tsantilas (John). Predeceased by his siblings Kathryn McKay and Rita Moffatt (late Norman). Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed and always remembered by his brother-in-law Tim, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. James was a member of the Canadian Air Force in the war. The family would like to extend their special thanks to the Veterans Affairs for their ongoing support. The family also appreciates the dedicated and caring personal support workers from Home Instead senior care and CCAC.
