The family announces with great sorrow his passing at his residence in Hanmer, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Auraldine (née Cormier) Ouellette of Hanmer. Son of the late Fabien and the late Estere (née Carrière) Ouellette. Loving father of Gilles (Sylvie) of Clarence Creek and late Linda Dechamplain (Alain). Dear brother of Thérèse Belcourt (late Léo), Léa Comeau (late Léonard), Henri and Gérard (Murielle). Predeceased by his brothers Toussaint (late Rhéa), Joseph (late Marguerite), Léandre (late Lina), Delphis (Thérèse), Arthur (Rose-Hélène) and by his sister Jeanne D’Arc Moreau (late Oscar). Cherished grandfather of Eric Ouellette (Rachel), Anyse Vermette (Pascal) and great-grandfather of Ryder and Ayden. Lionel was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, council 5005, Hanmer. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation.
