Obituary for Alice Ethier (Carrière)

ETHIER, Alice (née Carrière)
Passed away peacefully in Sudbury with her family at her side, on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Wife of the late Stanislas “Stanley” Ethier. Daughter of the late Oswald and of the late Honora (née Guy) Carrière. Beloved mother of Mike (France) of Dowling, Joanne Stargratt (Paul) of Sudbury and Richard. Predeceased by her son Raymond. Dear sister of Raymonde Matte (late Gérard “Gerry”) of Lively and Lorraine Grandchamp (Howard Neely) of Azilda. Predeceased by her sister Simone Lebel (late Albert) and by her brothers Roger (Diane of Val Caron) and Hector. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Keith (Regan), André, Jason, Melissa (Jason), Jeffrey (Melissa) and by her great-grandchildren Mace, Hunter and Nina. Alice will be greatly missed by her family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St-Bartholomew Church, Levack. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
